Behind the centennial tree that is characteristic of Lluc, you'll find a cobbled path that takes you to Santa Figura. One of the most mysterious and mystical routes. From here, you can contemplate the panoramic views of the Lluc and Clot d'Aubarca valley: verdant in summer, and snowy in the winter.
The writer and monsignor Antoni Maria Alcove I Sureda was born in Manacor in 1862. As a great religious devotee, he left a legacy of works in the Catalan language that is part of our traditional heritage. Together with Francesc de Borja Moll, they created the Catalan-Valencian-Balearic dictionary, for which they were renowned.
This church was constructed between 1622 and 1691 from rocks extracted from the area of Santuari de Lluc. At the beginning of the 20th centre, the main facade was restored by the famous architect Antoni Gaudi. Over the years, it has received various honorary distinctions
Made up of eight halls, the Lluc Museum features a diverse group of archaeological artefacts, treasures, Mallorcan alcoves, sacred imaginary, ceramics, paintings, artisanal textiles and part of the famous work by Josep Coli Bardolet. In the Magnolia Garden, you'll find a monument dedicated to Joaquim Rosselló, the founder of the Santuari Order. In 1910, he helped to launch the moral and material renovations of the ancient university, together with Father Joan Campins.
70 m from the Plaça dels Pelegrins, you'll find this garden dating back to 1956. It was created by and for the religious community for the study and enjoyment of native, endemic plants. Currently, there are around 200 varieties of wild, aromatic and medicinal plants native to Mallorca, as well as fruit trees.
