Nature in la serra de tramuntana
The botanical garden was constructed in 1956. Since then, it has been reserved for the religious community, as a space for the study of native, endemic plants. It was constructed thanks to brother Macià Ripoll a group of prior 'blauets'. Currently, entry is free of charge
Visiting hours
Free entrance and voluntary donations accepted
In the morning
from 10:00 a.m. to 13:00 p.m.
In the afternoon
from 15:00 to 18:00 p.m.
The garden features 200 varieties of local plants. It is an extensive showcase of wild species, aromatic and medicinal plants and typical fruit trees of Mallorca. Recently, the Arboretum has been added, dedicated to planting native trees and bushes from the Iberian Peninsula and other countries.
