Hospedería del Santuari de Lluc
In the heart of the Serra de Tramuntana and built in the 13th century, is this beautiful Sanctuary that houses Our Lady of Lluc. Honoured Queen and Patroness of Mallorca in 1894 by Pope Leo XIII and the Mallorcan people. During the 16th century it hosted the “blauets”, the well-known and canonical choir school for children. Since then, it has also been considered a pilgrimage hostel.
The rooms or “porxets” maintain the typical Mallorcan style of yesteryear and surround a central patio. Here, we find the only shrine that remains of the seven Gozos built in 1393. A unique atmosphere that can only be found in this place.
The Santuari de Lluc is the perfect place to let yourself be guided by devotion and the path of truth. But also to enjoy the culture and history of our island, and its natural and dreamlike scenery.
The sacred forest (Lucus) that surrounds the Santuari and the town of Escorca, are part of the Serra de Tramuntana, considered a World Heritage site by UNESCO in 2011. Synonymous with connection with nature and harmony. Where relaxation is inevitable.
We await you!
